More than a trip

I've been in some countries (all of them in Europe). I like travelling, going far away. Sometimes it isn't possible and I go to nearby places.

I'm planning my trips. All the arrangements are made for three of them: Dublin, l'Estartit and Granada.

Well, really, this Thursday I'm going to Dublin with some of my classmates. We wanted to improve our English and our cultural learning. On Friday some of us are going to visit the coast with a guided tour.

Have you ever been there? What can we visit in Dublin?

I think their English will be easier than the American's. Usually I don't have a lot of difficulties understanding English but sometimes with the American films I can't understand a word.

But I don't know what I'll do on holidays. It depends on if I'm working or not, if I passed all the exams at the university, a surgical operation I'm waiting for and other aspects.

I want to go somewhere in Spain just for a week because I don't know If I'll have more time. Can you help me?

Dublin is a wonderful city! Small and handy. Everything is close . Observe the differences on either side of the river... Two different cities arise. See the Oscar Wilde statue in the park and the James Joyce in the city centre. Enjoy the pubs, they are lively and the guinness has nothing to do than the one you drink here in Barcelona...
Enjoy your trips... this is the best way to life. Don't you agree?

I like people who like travelling abroad. You could feel their energy around them. Always busy planning trips.
I haven’t travelled abroad yet. It sounds terrible, I know. Sometimes I couldn’t because of the money, sometimes because of the work … Anyway. I’ve had the opportunity to travel to small towns in Spain. Having friends who usually go to their parents towns in summer help you.

Every summer, I go to a small town in ‘La Alpujarra de Granada’ and I’ve been in Almuñecar twice. Almuñecar is a beautiful tourist place in the Granada coast, about 40 or 50 minutes by car from the city. It’s a good place if you enjoy going to the beach during the day and going out at night.

Enjoy your trips!

I haven’t been in Dublin… but with Virginia’s comment I could put it on my list of European cities that I would like to visit. I visited some cities in Europe and I think our English is quite good to understand them. I stayed in Paris, Rome, Prague and last year in Malta. I’ve always spoken in English and I haven’t had any problems. What are going to happen this summer when I arrive to New York? I don’t know but I hope I understand them and they understand me!!

Diana

I've been to the States twice. In New York a lot people speak Spanish as there are a lot Latins so don't worry about your english and try to enjoy your trip.

You will have a good time there.

Hi Nuroma. I haven't been in Dublin yet , but I would like to visit soon. Enjoy your trip!!!
It is difficult to recommend a place to go on holidays, when I am still thinking in my own summer holidays. All depend on whom you go, how long time, how much it cost, and which kind of landcaspe or holidays do you prefer.
Whatever decision it will be ok.
