Non-speak communication
Now we are living in the age of communication: mobile phone, internet, TV...
All these new forms of comunication have shown us that when we are communicating with the rest of the people we don't use only words. Our body is expressing itself at the same time.
What is our body saying about us?
- When we are listening to someone with our hand leaned on our chin we are interested in it.
- When we are doing the same but we have our hand palm leaned on our face it means we are bored, we aren't interested in it.
- When we are covering our mouth constantly we don't agree with the speaker or what he/she is talking about isn't interesting for us.
- When we are touching our nose so often it's a sign of contradiccion. We don't think what we are saying. However, it coukd be a sign of nerves or discomfort.
- When we have our arms folded it shows opposition or a way to go on the defensive.
- When we are with our arms folded but crosslegged too. It's a heavier way to go on the defensive.
- When we are touching our ear frequently it emans, we don't want to listen to what the speaker is saying.
- With our hands crossed behind our head we are showing we feel better than the others.

Whose theories are these?
Some of these gestures you mention we have seen in comics and in films probably in real life too but I do not think they can be universal non-verbal communication gestures. Do you? Do you always do as you have said?
I picture myself with my palms holding my face and according to you this would be boredom, what I feel is double interest! I could add some more...

Yes, but I mean who is the writer who wrote this? I know it can be true for many people. I just would like to know who the author is...
Thanks,

I don't know who's the author.
It's part of my classes of psychology at University.

Do you think is it true through and through? In my opinion if you want to be a good doctors or psychologist you should raise yourself doubts about absolutely trues. Don't you think so?
By the way, nice post. You always want to share your learning, and I like it.

Well, I will not be a psychologist!! However, I absolutely agree with you. We don't have to believe everything we read. Absolutely trues don't exist!!!
