The tube

These days I've been very busy, so my blog has been on stand-by waiting for my next post.

I'm going to write about the subway. I spend one hour and a half daily travelling by this mean of transport.

Early in the morning I usually read the free daily newspaper. I like being informed but during the day I don't have enough time to watch the TV news.

After a long day at work I go home and while I'm going by subway I have time to read the new English book, to study for the exams or I just observe what's happening around me.

Sometimes I'm too tired and I can only close my eyes and my mind goes blank.

I used to take the tube some years ago when I was an universitary student. Nowadays I take the train everyday but I have to admit the tube has something special. I’ve been in some other city tubes (Paris, Hong Kong, Moscow, Rome) and all of them are different. The smell, the decoration… One of the things I will never forget about Paris is the tube’s smell (sickening).

You really have controlled your language here! Good job!

Just a couple of things.

You say:
waiting my next post
or just I observe what's

You should say:
waiting for my next post
or I just observe what's...

I still love the stories that come to my mind when I travel in the tube. I think it's a good exercise, whether massive or your own! but I enjoy that "blankness" you mention when the head cannot stand anything else.

I hate taking the tube at rush hour, it's really awful! I can't stand the smells, the stamps, I don't put up with the crowd so I feel uncomfortable at these situations...

Welcome back to the blocks again!
I'll take into account what you say, of course!
Waiting for your new post, now.
