Franco's death
Last Sunday was the 30th anniversary of Franco's death. And when I watched on TV the news I was really surprised. Why was I surprised? Because I saw too many people remembering him nostalgically.
What did they miss? Now we are free, we can think whatever we want and dress as we want and in our own language.
I was born after his death but I have read and listen a lot of about these times so... I can't understand these people.

Blood group
In these days I have learned one thing (I'm sure more than one): a slimming diet exists based on the blood group. Wow!!! It was new for me.
It's based on the origin of the earth. The original blood group was O and then the others.
What can you eat?
- Group O: You can eat meat, fat but not drink coffee. You were hunter in the past
- Group A: I'm sorry but you must eat vegetables, fruit. You can drink coffee because you haven't to much clorhidric acid in your stomach. In the past you were rural.
- Group B: these group come from the poles. And sincerely I can remember anything else.
- Group AB: ups!!! I can remember anything!!!
Another curiosity: If you are O+ you are universal donor. But if you are O- you are universal recipient.
I would tell you only one thing else about the blood groups. When a woman is pregnant and she has a negative RH exists a problem with her second pregnancy. But women don't be worried nowadays it isn't really a problem.

The house on Mango Street
Finally the book exam has gone. At first, in my opinion, the book was so boring, no-sensed... I couldn't understand what it was about.
But when we talked about it in class, I don't know why, everything in my mind suddenly was clear.
Now we have to read "Bridget Jones's diary". Most of us have read it in Spanis and maybe everybody have seen the film. I have done both of them and the second one too. Although read it in English is quite different, it's like read it for first time.
When I saw the book I thought: "It's not too large" but when I opened it and started to read it... Well, I think I will need a magnifying glass. The sentences are like many ant rows.
So I think that I wouldn't re-read this book.

Tenerife
Waw!!! In December I will go to Tenerife just for a week with my parents (maybe it's a clue I'm not married yet). If someone have visited it and can recommend some places to visit. I can't remember where the hotel is, but I know it's near the center.
I want to ride a camel like in the desert. I can imagine myself doing it at these moment. I think it would be like ride a horse (my favourite pet, is it another clue? hehehehe).
I don't know how the weather is in December, it means, it's hotter than here but I don't know how much.
So, people please help me to enjoy my trip.

Rita Levi Montalcini
I have forgotten yesterday to tell you this. On Saturday I have had de pleasure to attend a conference of Rita Levi Montalcini. She is the winner of the 1986 Nobel Prize in Medicine.
She is now an old woman, she was born on 1909. But I find on her a energetic woman who knows is at the end of her days in this world. She has some health problems but she continues working.
I think there's a sentence in her autobiography that defines how is she: "At twenty, I realized that I could not possibly adjust to a feminine role as conceived by my father, and I asked him permission to engage in a professional career"
In my opinion she is really a small-big woman.

To be a tourist
Last weekend I have become in a tourist in my own city. My italian friends have come to Barcelona for a week. In this long (Monday was a free-day for me) weekend we have visited: the city center, the Batllo's House, Guell's Park, the district of Gracia...
In the Batllo's House I met Lola Herrera and her daugther (she is an actress too). By the way, I recommend you visit this house but the terrace of this is nothing specially. However, the terrace of "La Pedrera" is impressive and the view too.
On Sunday, we went to my home for lunch. My mum cooked a "paella", it was the best one I have tasted in the last months. Obviously they thinked as me.
Tomorrow we will go to my sister's house to have dinner. It would be a bit of everything: Spanish omelette, prawns, bread with tomatoe...
Unfortunately I was on diet and it this week has benn forgotten... But I will return on it next week!!!!

Ellen's diary
I have chosen this blog because I like the way she writes.
As she said in her blog, she is very analytic so the sentences are short and clear.
She doesn’t try to be poetic , she only writes the things like they are. It means, that her style of writing isn’t overelaborate.
Everything in her blog is in order. And I really like her way she makes her “About me”. What are the important things to know about someone?
Personality, food, music and hobbies. A few words of everything just to know a bit more about her.
However, her writings are very sensitive, as you can see in “My photo album”.
I realize she’s really proud of her life. It had been marked by the presence of her parents. She needs love, maybe more than other people so, sometimes she would be demanding person.
In her blog there is a “photo album” with some photos about her trips: the Seychelles, Kenya. Something to make us green with envy.
